Technological literacy is an important part of the curriculum. All kindergartners through sixth grade students have weekly classes in the computer lab. Technology Content and Skills Development

Technology skills follow the New York State Standards for Education Technology for each grade level.

Technology instruction is connected to classroom academics by:

• Enhancing literacy development with language games, reports, PowerPoint, and other desktop-publishing programs
• Math-related activities
• Research projects that require investigation on the internet
• Art experiences on the computer such as drawing
• Visual literacy with computer graphic organizers
