Family Life Academy Charter School offers a number of programs, both educational and enriching, which enhance its academic programs.

FLACS’ educational special programs, such as physical education, music/art, foreign language, and computers, reinforce the school’s core subject areas. FLACS prides itself on its literacy intervention programs that get students on grade level and cultivates reading skills to sustain reading proficiency. FLACS’ guidance counseling is a new program introduced in the 2009-2010 academic year for FLACS middle school students as they traverse the high school application process and enter top tier high schools. FLACS’ enriching special programs build up health and environmental awareness, introduce students to unconventional career paths, and empower students will skills and knowledge to problem solve.
