Who We Serve

For the 2009-2010 academic year, FLACS is serving 334 students in kindergarten through sixth grades. Approximately 77% and 23% are Latino and Black/ African American, respectively, and over 70% of students reside in the local district.

FLACS students are excited about learning and are engaged in FLACS’ rigorous program. FLACS inspires in students a desire to learn everyday- a desire that will lead them to success. A FLACS Scholar is an achiever. Students graduate from FLACS with ambitions, the academic foundation to excel in the best high schools, and a set of principles to guide their judgment, actions, and relationship with the people and world around them.
