Dear FLACS Community,
As you know, at the beginning of this year we applied to convert FLACS IV from a K-8 school to a FLACS High School. We are pleased to share that this application was approved today by SUNY.
FLACS HS will open next fall, starting with grade 9 and adding one grade each year until it is a full 9-12 school. A new building is being constructed down the street from FLACS I which will house the high school when completed. Kathy Ortiz, former FLACS II principal, will be the principal of this new school!
